Pay: $24.00 - $32.00/hr + per diem, with potential for $70,000-$80,000+ annually, including OT and per diem.

Job Overview
Hustad Companies Inc is seeking a skilled, self-motivated Traveling Roofing Service Technician/Inspector to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on multifamily and commercial roofing systems across the United States. This role suits a roofing professional with substantial experience in shingles and flat roofing, broad construction knowledge, and a strong commitment to quality. Key responsibilities include diagnosing and addressing roofing issues, conducting warranty inspections, and managing repair approvals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of shingle and commercial flat roofing systems, focusing on damage, leaks, and common deficiencies.
• Execute inspections, submit repair approval requests, and perform repairs where possible.
• Complete a wide range of repairs on roofing systems, siding, gutters, water flashing, and exterior building envelopes.
• Accurately document findings and repairs following industry standards.
• Set up and safely climb ladders (up to 40 feet) and operate man lifts as needed.

Travel & Schedule

• Travel Requirements: Extensive travel across the U.S.; typical schedule includes two weeks on-site followed by a long weekend at home.
• Location: Must reside near a major airport and be flexible to travel on short notice.
• Overtime: OT opportunities with paid travel time.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in roofing and exterior repairs, including shingles, flat roofing, siding, gutters, windows, doors, and more.
• Skills: Self-starter with broad construction and repair knowledge; capable of managing tasks independently.
• Technology: Proficient with smartphones; experience using CenterPoint or FCS software is advantageous.
• Drone Certification: Highly beneficial for inspections.
• Requirements: Valid driver's license and ability to safely set up and manage a 40' ladder on various job sites.
• Video Interviewing: Second-round interviews will be conducted via video with the HQ team for convenience, with ongoing video meetings as needed.

Training

• Paid Training: Two-week initial paid training at HQ in NE, including an on-site skills assessment.
