The Flight Checker is responsible for performing daily quality checks on meals/beverage/equipment of the final product for all domestic and international flights on the field. They are in charge of communicating and gathering any missing items or meals in order to ensure the complete order is made exactly to our customer's specifications. Our Benefits: •Free Meals •Medical, Dental and Vision Care. •Free Uniforms and Shoes •Life Insurance •401k Program •Paid vacation, Sick time, and Holidays Description of the job, responsibilities and duties. •Assist with inventory, ordering, record keeping and other related duties •Monitor product ordering, availability / shortages and communicate updates / status •Update and communicate substitutions •Assist with galley change notifications •Communicate specification and diagram changes to all levels of the organization •Conduct specifications checks partnering with Quality •Investigate and communicate flight crew feedback •Monitor kitchen ready times and dock departure times for on time delivery •Participate on customer sponsored conference calls •Conduct on-field checks to ensure compliance •Liaise with customers on related topics •Support charter related activity •Support flight crew and customer service on aircraft •Perform other duties as directed Qualifications •Strong sense of urgency & problem, solving skills •Good Communication Interacting with the Flight Crews, Coordinators, and Drivers to be able to trouble shoot any catering issues •Ability to interface and communicate with all employees •Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail •Ability to work in a 24-hour environment •Must be able to pass a ten-year background check and drug test to obtain an AOA badge •Quality Assurance Our Employees Must Be Able to •Work assigned schedule which may include nights, weekends and holidays •Work overtime when required •Wear Personal Protective Equipment as required Environmental Requirements •Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise, working in the cold room 41F. •Regularly stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours •Exposed to fall hazards
