Location: 1530 FM 973, Taylor, TX 76574
Shift: Monday- Friday 7:30am-4:30pm (Comfortable with working outdoors in extreme conditions and wearing safety hats/shoes as site is still a construction zone)
Pay: $22/hr

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Note: Not all duties assigned to this position are included.
•Package Handling: Receive incoming packages, inspect them for damage, and accurately record package information into the system. Sort packages based on destination and delivery route.
•Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages from delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment and techniques. Ensure packages are securely stacked to prevent damage during transit.
•Delivery: Drive delivery vehicles to designated locations to deliver packages to customers. Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery. Obtain signatures and confirm delivery of packages.
•Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and special requests promptly and professionally. Always maintain a positive and courteous demeanor.
•Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by updating inventory systems with incoming and outgoing shipments. Report any discrepancies or issues to management.
•Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and follow proper lifting and handling techniques.
•Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on delivery vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
•Performs all housekeeping functions and maintain a professional appearance of equipment and spaces.
•Must have the ability to follow oral and written directions, demonstrate mechanical ability and keep accurate records.
•Assist in maintaining inventory levels and ordering necessary supplies and materials for maintenance tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS
•High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
•Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and perform manual labor as required.
•Prior experience in package handling, delivery, or related field preferred.
•Employee is required to be a self-starter with excellent communication skill.
•Excellent oral and written communication skills
•Professionalism, discretion, and strong attention to detail.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Conditions may require walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting (less than or equal to 50 pounds), bending, working in awkward positions handling equipment and materials.
Employees will be required to wear protective clothing and/or respiratory equipment when conditions warrant.
To operate a vehicle at the customer's site, employees must obtain an ABM drivers permit per the ABM Drivers Safety MVR registration program. This policy checks for a valid State ID along with a citation background check, and those with high risk driving habits will need additional driver education to obtain the permit. Employees who operate company vehicles must consistently meet the requirements of the Facility Vehicle Safety Program.
