Records Manager

Description:

Adecco is hiring immediately for a Records Manager with a local client in Austin, TX. Pay is based upon experience from $43/hr - $49/hr. Approximate 6-12 month contract.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a records retention program tailored for a complex multi-national organization.
  • Advise on the management, classification, and storage of company records.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure proper records handling and retention practices.
  • Develop general and targeted training on records management practices and conduct staff training
  • Develop processes to manage the lifecycle of records, including creation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Develop a records management procedures manual.
  • Utilize records management software and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Library Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Records Manager or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of records management principles and best practices.
  • Experience in developing and implementing records retention programs.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in records management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to records management.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multi-national organization.
  • Certification in Records Management (CRM) or similar credential.
