We are on the hunt for an energetic, motivated, and experienced Permanent Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional who is ready to take their career to the next level. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales in a designated territory, leading a team of sales representatives, and establishing strong relationships with key customers. This role requires a high level of sales leadership, management, and distribution experience to drive business growth and market penetration.

Responsibilities:

As our Permanent Area Sales Manager, you will be tasked with the following:

1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area and target markets.
2. Lead, manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve their sales targets.
3. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
4. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
6. Ensure timely collection of receivables as per agreed terms with customers.
7. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
8. Conduct regular sales training for the team to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
9. Provide feedback to the team and management on market trends, competitive activity, product performance, and customer feedback.
10. Participate in sales events, trade shows, and workshops as required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Area Sales Manager role should possess the following:

1. A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, sales leadership, and distribution.
3. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
5. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
7. Ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
8. Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
9. Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.
10. Ability to travel as needed.
