JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a growing financial services firm looking to bring on an Auditor to their team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in auditing within a Big 4 or public accounting firm, with a strong understanding of audit methodologies and regulatory requirements. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the firms Austin, TX office.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial audits of client accounts, including reviewing financial statements, internal controls, and accounting processes.
• Utilize audit methodologies to assess risk, evaluate controls, and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop audit plans and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in auditing, with a focus on financial services clients within a Big 4 or public accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, including risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards, such as GAAP and SOX.
