We are seeking a Traffic Engineer / TIA Lead to drive our traffic engineering and impact analysis services while playing a key role in business development. If you're a traffic engineer with an entrepreneurial mindset, this is the perfect opportunity to lead and grow within a dynamic firm.Responsibilities:* Identify new opportunities, build relationships with developers, agencies, and municipalities, and secure contracts for traffic engineering services.* Stay informed on local development trends, zoning changes, and regulatory updates to anticipate market needs and proactively offer solutions* Develop alliances with engineering firms, land-use planners, and environmental consultants to enhance service offerings and increase project opportunities.* Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events.* Oversee the preparation of TIAs for various development projects, ensuring compliance with local and state regulations* Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring high-quality, on-time submissions.* Support junior staff in developing technical and client management skillsRequired Qualifications:* Degree in engineering, planning or related field.* PE License in Texas.* 5 or more years of progressive experience in traffic engineering.* Expertise using engineering software (ie., Synchro, Vissim, Excel, Word, ArcGIS, etc.), development codes, manuals and methodologies required for above projects.Desired Qualifications:* Existing relationships with development community.* Demonstrated success in managing projects to scope, schedule, and budget.* Strong team-building and team management skills.Equal Opportunity Employer | Veterans | Disabled
