As our company embarks on an ambitious growth plan — constructing and remodeling 15-20 locations per year — the Supply Chain Director will ensure cost-effective procurement, supplier consistency, and efficient material management.
Why Join Us?
This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in shaping the long-term supply chain strategy of a rapidly growing franchise network. - Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies to optimize costs, ensure quality, and secure reliable supply chains.
- Negotiate multi-year contracts with vendors and manufacturers for essential construction materials such as rooftop HVAC units, electrical panels, metal framing materials, low-voltage systems, sheetrock, and other commonly used components.
- Manage relationships with key suppliers, leveraging economies of scale to drive cost efficiencies and service level agreements.
- Supply Chain Management & Optimization:
- Analyze historical project data to forecast material demand across multiple locations and projects.
- Collaborate with construction and project management teams to align supply chain strategies with build timelines and operational needs.
- Monitor supply chain performance, addressing potential bottlenecks and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Implement processes for bulk purchasing, logistics coordination, and inventory tracking to minimize waste and delays.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring alignment with company goals and project schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on pricing, service levels, quality, and compliance with contractual agreements.
- Act as the primary point of contact between franchise construction teams and suppliers, resolving any procurement-related issues efficiently.
- Work cross-functionally with department heads across the organization, including finance, operations, and construction to align procurement strategies with overall business objectives and ensure seamless coordination.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and value optimization through strategic sourcing, alternative materials, and improved supplier partnerships.
- Continuously monitor market trends, material costs, and industry developments to adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
- Drive budget efficiency by standardizing material selections across all projects while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or strategic sourcing, preferably within the construction, real estate development, or franchise industries.
- Strong expertise in negotiating large-scale, multi-year vendor contracts.
- Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and optimizing supply chain operations for cost savings and efficiency.
- Familiarity with construction materials, HVAC systems, electrical components, and related building supplies.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with vendors, suppliers, and project teams.
