Job Summary Details:
This position is responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, and general upkeep of assigned areas. This includes building interiors and exteriors, restrooms, furniture, and equipment. Duties may also include seasonal maintenance tasks and supporting recycling initiatives. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No experience required - on-the-job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Preferred Qualifications: - Customer service experience
- 1 year of similar work experience
Key Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain buildings/facilities including restrooms, offices, lobbies, break areas, and common spaces
- Follow proper procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage
- Notify managers of necessary minor or major repairs or upgrades to building systems
- Maintain effective communication with clients, co-workers, and management
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, compliance, and quality standards
- Dust and clean furniture, walls, ceilings, floors, and fixtures
- Clean glass surfaces including windows, partitions, and mirrors
- Wash and replace blinds
- Gather and dispose of trash and recyclables
- Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf raking, grass cutting, etc.
- Wipe and clean tables, chairs, and equipment in food areas
- Service, clean, and restock restrooms
- Support recycling and sustainability initiatives as needed
- Move furniture, boxes, and equipment manually or with hand trucks for cleaning access
