*Pay range: $33 and up (DOE)

Imperial Technical Services, a partner of Heritage Landscape, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Outside Field Technician to join our San Diego team. This role primarily involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining irrigation booster pumps and commercial irrigation systems. Regular maintenance is a key part of this position. The ideal candidate will have experience with irrigation equipment, booster pumps, low-voltage and high-voltage systems, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of commercial irrigation timers, including our in-house irrigation assembly enclosures and timers from brands like Rain Bird, Toro, Hunter, Rain Master, Tucor, Calsense, and Weathertrak.
2. Conduct inspections and assessments of commercial irrigation timer and booster pump installations (up to 15 horsepower).
3. Work safely with low-voltage and high-voltage systems, up to 480V / 3-phase.
4. Travel to various job sites throughout San Diego for inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
5. Provide daily updates to customers and dispatch team via emails, reports, and pictures, clearly communicating service details.
6. Manage multiple project timelines by reviewing progress, identifying delays, and proactively resolving issues to ensure timely completion.
7. Diagnose, repair, and evaluate the performance of irrigation booster pump systems, including brands like Barrett, Rain Bird, and Watertronics.
8. Operate the company vehicle safely to and from job sites, maintaining proper care of the vehicle and tools.
9. Uphold safety standards and protocols, using PPE appropriately to ensure personal safety and prevent injuries.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Experience with commercial irrigation systems, booster pumps, and timers.
2. Knowledge of electrical systems up to 480V/3-phase.
3. Skills in diagnosing and repairing irrigation controllers and booster pumps.
4. Strong communication skills for customer interactions.
5. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
6. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
7. Physical ability to lift and carry tools and equipment.
8. Ability to pass background checks and a pre-employment drug test.

Education/Experience:

1. High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
2. Experience as a field technician is highly desirable.
3. Experience with irrigation equipment, booster pumps, and electrical systems, along with excellent customer service skills.

*Pay range: $33 and up (DOE)
