Are you a visionary leader with a passion for optimizing warehouse operations and driving team success? We are looking for an experienced Director of Warehouse Distribution. This role will oversee and optimize multi-site warehouse operations, ensuring alignment with company growth strategies while maintaining operational excellence.
In This Role
- Lead and develop a high-performing operations team across multiple locations
- Drive change and continuous improvement through process innovation, technology integration, and operational best practices
- Oversee all aspects of multi-site warehouse operations, including receiving, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Develop and execute strategic plans for warehouse operations to support business objectives, scalability, and profitability
- Manage and maintain full P&L, ensuring cost efficiency while delivering exceptional operational performance
- Plan, forecast, and allocate resources effectively to meet operational and customer demands
- Build and mentor warehouse and operations leadership teams, ensuring strong performance, professional development, and succession planning
- Ensure compliance with safety initiatives, quality standards, and industry regulations, fostering a culture of workplace safety
- Optimize warehouse processes and layout, identifying opportunities to reduce costs and enhance efficiency, including slotting, put away, picking, and replenishment strategies
- Lead cross-functional collaboration within operations and across Sales, Marketing, and People & Culture to align operational goals with company objectives
- Partner with IT on the design and delivery of technology solutions
- Other duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications

The Ideal Person
- 15+ years of leadership experience in distribution operations,
- Knowledge of a multi-site distribution center environment
- Experienced in data analysis, warehouse KPIs, and business management software
- Knowledge of WMS (Korber, Red Prairie, or similar)
- Proven expertise in strategic distribution operations planning and efficiency, and financial oversight in a high-growth organization
- Understanding of safety, compliance, and quality control measures within distribution operations
