Sunbelt Rentals, the fastest-growing rental business in North America, is seeking a Technician.

This role involves performing preventive maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and complex repairs on equipment to minimize downtime. Our fleet varies by location but primarily includes aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and equipment. Specialty lines locations may have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems, and oil/gas-related equipment.

Qualifications

Education or experience:

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training preferred
• 5+ years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment, or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or oil & gas), strongly preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• May need to provide tools of the trade
• Advanced hydraulic and troubleshooting skills
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical Demands

Requires bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds, and working indoors/outdoors as needed. Reasonable accommodations will be made to comply with laws.

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $23.58 - $32.41 per hour. Starting pay may vary based on factors like location, education, training, and experience. Visit our careers page for more info and to join our Talent Network.
