Southwest Mobile Storage a premier provider of storage containers & offices for rent & sale in Austin. Our business is growing, and we are looking for a Branch Technician with a repair person aptitude, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair our rental fleet either in the yard or in the field. Weare looking for someone with good work ethic, able to work with others, can work alone with some direction & enjoys their co-workers.

Responsibilities:

• Trouble shooting electrical issues with offices in yard or in field.
• Replacing door handles, lights, locks, etc.
• HVAC maintenance of units in yard or field
• Any electrical issues with equipment in yard
• Getting parts or materials for shop or dispatch
• Helping with any grinding or welding in yard or cleaning
• Yard and building maintenance.
• The ability to be forklift certified
• Basic Carpentry a plus
• Building, tool & equipment maintenance if needed.
• Load and unload trucks
• Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Lift up to 75lbs.
• At least 21 years of age
• Basic electrical knowledge
• Must possess valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficient in English language, bilingual a plus.
• Authorized for employment in the United States
• Thorough background screening.

• Be self-sufficient, have excellent problem- solving skills, work quickly with high accuracy.
• Willing to accept whatever assignment happens during that day, able to work with a team, have a professional demeanor.
• Have a safety mind set.
• Knowledge and use of common handheld tools
• Must be reliable and on-time.
