Purchasing / Estimator Expert Needed

Georgetown, TX | Full-Time | Residential Development

A growing and well-capitalized residential developer is looking for an experienced Purchasing/Estimating professional to spearhead the department and help drive continued growth. This is a high-impact leadership role working directly alongside the COO to oversee all budgeting, estimating, and purchasing efforts across in-house construction projects.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development and execution of purchasing and estimating processes
• Manage vendor relationships and material procurement
• Oversee job cost tracking and budget management
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize cost, quality, and timelines

What We're Looking For:

• 5–10+ years of experience in purchasing, estimating, or construction operations
• Background in residential or civil construction strongly preferred
• Proficiency with cost tracking tools (e.g., HCSS HeavyBid/HeavyJob)
• Strong organizational and vendor negotiation skills
• Ability to build and lead a department from the ground up
