Groundskeeper - PT Role Profile Position Summary The Part-Time Groundskeeper role reports directly to the Facilities Manager. This is a non-exempt role and key accountabilities for success are Ground Cleanliness, Equipment operation and care, inspect grounds for safety, Record Keeping and Facility Support. Exterior window cleaning of the retail store. Equipment operation and care Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers and blowers. Report equipment malfunctions. Inspect grounds for safety hazards Safety and Compliance Report or resolve safety issues. Record Keeping Notify supervisor of inventory needs for landscaping materials or equipment. Facility Support Support event setup and teardown on outdoor grounds. Knowledge, Abilities & Experience for Success: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 Years of experience. Ability to operate and maintain landscaping tools. Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Must be able to move about and ascend/descend stairs, ramps, and ladders. Substantial movements (motion) of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers in a repetitive manner. Continuous sitting, standing, walking, using stairs, hearing, talking, bending, crouching, and working closely with others. Work Environment: May require occasional evening or weekend work for emergencies or special projects. Physical ability to inspect facilities grounds. Moderate noise (examples: business office and warehouse with computers and printers, light traffic). Be prepared to respond to emergencies, which may require being on-call outside of regular working hour.
