POSITION DESCRIPTION: The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our production floor and facility.

TYPE: Full Time; Hourly

LOCATION: The position is based in Drink Pak's Fort Worth, TX.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Responsible for all basic cleaning of our production facility, including packaging and processing equipment, floors, drains, walls, outside grounds, etc.
  • Must be able to read and understand sanitation logs and be able to document sanitation activities.
  • Must be able to train on the operation of floor scrubbing equipment.
  • Must be able to train to operate a scissor lift for high-reach sanitation activities.
  • Ensure the safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals following our GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
  • Monitor and maintain sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
  • Stay on task, but be prompt to respond to incidents as they occur throughout the day
  • Interact and maintain positive relationships with all levels of leadership
  • Accomplish special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management
  • Compliant with all safety rules and regulations, GMP's and all Drink Pak's policies and procedures
  • Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the Field or a similar manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
  • Effective communication
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Must be proactive
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Able to effectively manage time
  • Must be able to train to operate a scissor lift and a floor scrubber.
