Position Title: HR Generalist

Location: Leander, TX

Assignment Type: 3-month contract with potential for contract-to-hire

Industry: Manufacturing

Compensation: $35-38/hr

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary:

We're seeking a well-rounded and experienced HR Generalist to join a company in Leander, TX. The ideal candidate is confident operating independently, with strong expertise across all core HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct an internal HR audit and document current processes
• Ensure HR policies and procedures are established, compliant, and well-documented
• Build out and formalize the HR department structure
• Oversee workers' compensation processes
• Manage benefits administration and support annual renewal processes
• Act as the go-to resource for employee HR questions and support
• Provide guidance on day-to-day HR matters and long-term solutions

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist experience
• Ability to operate as a stand-alone HR professional
• Demonstrated experience managing and implementing HR processes
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• SHRM certification strongly preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and self-management skill
