Tech Lead – High-Frequency Trading

A leading proprietary trading firm is seeking a Tech Lead to drive the design and development of its next-generation high-frequency trading platform. This is a key leadership role focused on building ultra-low-latency systems that underpin the firm's core trading strategies across global

markets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and implementation of HFT infrastructure, including market data handling, signal integration, and execution systems.
• Optimize system performance end-to-end, from hardware to network to software.
• Collaborate closely with traders and quantitative researchers to align platform capabilities with trading strategy requirements.
• Ensure production stability, with a focus on latency, throughput, and reliability in live environments.
• Provide technical direction and mentorship to a high-performing engineering team.

Requirements:

• Deep expertise in C++, with supporting experience in Python.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining high-frequency trading systems.
• Strong knowledge of exchange protocols, market microstructure, and low-latency system design.
• Track record of system-level and network-level performance tuning.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives and work effectively with cross-functional trading teams.
