The Library Director provides senior-level leadership and is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of the Leander Public Library, a division of the Parks and Recreation Department. This role ensures the library remains a vibrant, inclusive, and innovative resource that meets the evolving needs of the community. Responsible for setting and evaluating goals, policies, and services; overseeing library staff and operations; managing the annual budget; maintaining and developing the library collection; promoting library services; and supporting exceptional patron experience. This position requires strong leadership, creativity, and independent judgement. Works under minimal supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgement.
