WHO YOU ARE:
Seeking an IT professional who uses technology, development and design techniques to solve business problems, while adhering to the adopted System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have strong program development, documentation and leadership skills. Document management system to know various levels and functionality of the system. Must have the ability to communicate in a professional, customer-focused manner.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming work. Work involves overseeing programming projects; analyzing, designing and documenting logical, structured programs and systems appropriate to customer needs to automate processing, innovate modern IT solutions for evolving mission-critical business systems, or to improve the efficiency of existing systems. Activities will include plan and design, problem solving, coding, testing, implementation and production support. Work is performed under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Maintains a reliable predictable work schedule. May provide guidance or oversee the work of others. May be called upon to work outside of normal business hours to complete urgent assignments or troubleshoot critical issues.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
-Perform advanced computer programming work on assigned projects.
-Provide leadership to all aspects of the projects to ensure timely completion through activity definition, sequencing, duration estimation, schedule development and schedule control.
-Assist with creation and maintenance of documentation for all projects.
-Assist in creation and monitoring purchases/contracts (statement of work) associated with projects assigned to the (Business Systems Integration) BSI team.
-Effectively communicates technical issues, project status, budgets, progress, and issues to management, project team, and project sponsors in both written and verbal form.
-Monitors compliance of staff in meeting established standards.
-Develops resource and cost estimates, manages budgets, and monitors expenditures.
-May include training, presentations, or system demonstrations.
-Responsible for ensuring that all procedures and specifications related to disaster recovery efforts are properly maintained.
-Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and agency laws, rules, policies, and procedures including IT Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that govern TWC IT.
-Cultivate a relationship with customers based on competency, trust, and delivering tangible results to business needs.
-Contribute to teamwork and communicate effectively.
-Promote an image of IT excellence.
-Performs other duties as assigned to maintain IT operations.
YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
-Experience with programming languages of C#, Java, Javascript.
-Experience with FileNet.
-Experience with scanning systems.
-Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) Tools for DB2 or SQL Server.
-Experience in specification/technical writing.
-Experience with Agile methodologies.
-Experience with Microsoft Office, Visio, and Project.
-Experience with Captiva and/or ImageTrust.
-Two or more years' experience in writing code.
YOU QUALIFY WITH:
-Four years of full-time experience in data processing, computer science, computer programming, systems analysis, and/or related field.
-Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
