14006 - Project Manager (onsite) - Austin, TX

Type: Temporary Project
Estimated Duration: 10 months with possible extensions
Work Setting: Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Tue, Wed, Thu) required to be onsite at the location listed above.
Required:
• Availability to work 3 days per week at the Client's site in Austin, TX (required);
• Experience managing projects with implementations across large organizations, including developing and managing project plans, and documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans (10 years);
• Experience researching, gathering, assembling, correlating, and analyzing facts; devising solutions to problems; and preparing concise reports and/or to analyze and solve complex and difficult problems (10 years);
• Experience overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensuring business requirements are translated into technical specifications, and facilitating the SDLC process (10 years);
• Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with multiple project sponsors and stakeholders (10 years);
• Experience summarizing and escalating issues, developing and presenting weekly status updates, and conducting regular project team meetings (10 years);
• Experience working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment (10 years);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (10 years);
• Experience with Agile methodology, overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments align with project timelines (10 years);
• Experience with Agile managing projects with feature-driven sprints (10 years).
Preferred:
• Experience implementing and using Agile methodologies and best practices for 1 or more State of Texas Agencies (5 years);
• PMP certification.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, budget, oversee, and document all aspects of the project;
• Facilitate meetings, manage project milestones and deliverables, and manage change requests for the Budget Planning Tool project;
• Manage risks and issues and track the project budget;
• Complete various reports to ensure the project is completed on time and under budget;
• Oversee the development of SDLC artifacts and translate business requirements into technical specifications;
• Guide and facilitate the SDLC process;
• Develop and present weekly status updates and conduct regular project team meetings.
