Under close supervision of nursing leadership, supports provider practice by assisting with direct patient care duties, including patient call backs and refill request. May perform diagnostic testing, maintain supply inventory levels, and clean and maintain medical equipment. Carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Rooms patients, takes and documents vital signs and prepares patients for provider exam. Administers medication under physician's direction and within the scope of practice as demonstrated by completion of training and testing. Performs diagnostic testing such as EK - Gs, audiograms, typanograms, spirometry, and visual screenings as instructed and documents in EPIC EMR. Responsible for reviewing both Provider refill in basket and assisting with daily medication refill request using the ARC refill protocol.
