Job Details

Position responsible for enforcement of the zoning ordinance by performing site inspections, working with builders and developers on compliance issues and other duties as assigned to include, but not limited to, routine inspection of sites to enforce development ordinance. Essential Duties & Required Qualifications Perform field inspections to verify compliance with zoning ordinance requirements related to landscaping, architectural features and other finishing requirements prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy for a site. Interpret, explain and enforce City policies and procedures, building/land development codes, specifications, ordinances, etc. Work in conjunction with other City departments to ensure cohesive application of city development policies and ordinances.
