Job Details

Understands the basic principles, theories and concepts related to the profession and learns how to apply them within the ERCOT culture. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Contributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directed. ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES - Analyzes transmission network data including Transmission and Generation element parameters. Works closely with ERCOT System Operations, System Operations Support, Market Operating Services Support, Client Services, System Planning and Metering. Works with Energy Management Systems and, Market Management Systems, and other analysis software to provide accurate power system models and associated cases. Supports detailed model changes delivered by Network Operations Model Change Requests (NOMC - Rs) to maintain an accurate Network Operations Model, Annual Planning and other models contained within the ERCOT modeling system.
