Project Engineer – Land Development

Austin, Texas | Full-time | Private Land Development

We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our growing land development team in Austin, TX. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who is passionate about creating innovative and sustainable solutions for private development projects.

As a Project Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of professionals to deliver high-quality design and engineering services for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You'll work closely with Project Managers, clients, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Support design and development of site civil engineering plans for private land development projects.
• Prepare construction documents including grading, drainage, utility, and paving plans.
• Conduct technical analysis and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to achieve project goals.
• Assist in permitting and approval processes with local municipalities.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and coordinate with CAD/Design teams.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field.
• E.I.T. required; P.E. license in Texas (or ability to obtain within 12 months) preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of drainage and hydrology software is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
