Job Details

Duration: 3+ months (with possible extensions)
Work Setting: Hybrid - Onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays (Austin, TX)

Required Qualifications:

• Must be available to work onsite in Austin, TX on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
• 5+ years of experience with ITIL configuration management principles and best practices.
• 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining configuration management processes and policies.
• 5+ years of experience with CMDB platforms such as BMC Helix, ServiceNow, or Atlassian.
• 4+ years of experience in performing configuration audits for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• 4+ years of experience verifying and auditing Configuration Items (CIs) against specifications.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Configuration Manager or similar ITSM leadership role.
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification is required.

• lign system configurations with overall business strategies.
• Manage and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring accuracy of all Configuration Items (CIs).
• Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
• Coordinate with IT teams to implement and enforce configuration management practices.
• Define and manage configuration identifications and change control.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure alignment with HHS agency policies and standards.
