What starts here really does change the world.The Corporate and Foundation Relations team is comprised of a collaborative team of professionals working in an engaging and fast-paced environment to increase McCombs reputation, relationships and resources through its corporate and foundation giving programs. More about McCombs can be found at PurposeThe key purpose of this role is to be an internal and external-facing corporate liaison, which is essential to the functionality, efficiency, daily performance, and fundraising of the team. The focus of the role is meeting corporate foundation and relations fundraising goals and relationship management of an external corporate and internal partner portfolio on behalf of McCombs. This role supports administrative, operational, data maintenance and stewardship responsibilities for the corporate and foundation relations team.ResponsibilitiesADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Schedule appointments and meetings, coordinate resources and provide appropriate references and necessary logistical details for the CFR team
  • Prepare RTAs and reimbursements, including travel, entertainment, and other miscellaneous items.
  • Arrange travel, including itineraries, car and hotel arrangements, and other necessary preparations.
  • Compose and prepare correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, and notes, assist with contact reports, thank you letters, and follow up materials, as requested.
  • Maintain copies of documents for office files both physical and electronic.
  • Provide support that allows for efficient and effective use of the Director and overall team.
  • Assist Senior Director, Director, and Assistant Director with follow-up activities for partners.DATA MAINTANENCE
    • Document corporate interaction and gifts in all tracking systems including VIP customer relationship software system and Smartsheet for sharing of information at the McCombs School and throughout UT
    • Handle invoicing, acknowledgment correspondence and payment records for partners
    • Update and correct donor records and perform related clerical or process functions, as needed.
    • Provide assistance with gifts, donor records, donor events, and overall operations.
    • Support the maintenance and operation of the gift processing and fundraising programs and services.
    • Create reports that show fundraising progress and effectiveness of current and past campaignsSTEWARDSHIP
      • Coordinate and oversee corporate recognition activities in partnership with the Corporate Relations & Stewardship Officer including logistics, videos, mailings, guest list name tags, RSVPs, follow up, and other activities, as needed.
      • Assist with mailings, materials and administrative operations.
      • Composes routine correspondence and assists with development of printed materials.
      • Generate data for and design annual engagement reports in partnership with the Corporate Relations & Stewardship Officer for corporate partners in addition to gathering information for the reports across multiple sources
      • Collaborate in the development of gift acknowledgment and procedures that maximize personalization and efficiency.OTHER
        • Compose collateral, talking points, and other items as needed for donor speaking events and other activities.
        • Manage interns and intern projects
        • Cross collaborate and train with department wide development associate team and support overall development team as needed.
        • Assist with key special projects
        • Liaison with internal constituents to gather information as needed.
        • Research philanthropic interests and capacity of corporations, private foundations and organizations and maintain a schedule of potential opportunities, deadlines, and projected submissions.
        • Supports hosting corporate and foundation visits on campus.
        • Other tasks as assigned in support of Corporate and Foundation Relations or Development as required.
        • Attend events as needed.Required Qualifications
          • High School Diploma or GED and at least 3 years experience at the Development Assistant or Administrative Assistant level; or a Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year experience at the Development Assistant or Administrative Assistant level
          • Outstanding time management skills and attention to detail are vital for success in this role.
          • Proactive and self-motivated self-starter with a strong drive for success and a high sense of urgency are critical.
          • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

            • Demonstrated database management skills, preferably with customer relationship management software.
            • Experience creating, monitoring, and reporting on metrics for success of outreach efforts.
            • Experience in working with complex information.
            • Experience in higher education and/or industry.Salary Range
              • $50,000 + depending on qualificationsWorking Conditions
                • Works in an open office environment with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation
