Description:

Volt is immediately hiring Lab Technician III in Austin, TX with a well-known industry leader. In this role you will lead or support the development of new products in Electrical Markets. This is a first shift position. As a Lab Technician III you will: Support protype product testing and laboratory maintenance to guide decisions on materials and constructions Closely interacting with scientists as a team to carryout experiments and testing Document observations and results in technical notebooks. Assisting in data summarization and preparation of final reports. Coordinate equipment calibrations to ensure accurate calculations of test data. Perform routine lab duties, including shipping and storing of samples. This is a full-time contingent opportunity Estimated Duration 24 months The ideal candidate will have: Minimum of one (1) year experience in a laboratory setting within a private, public, government or military environment. Able to accept projects from multiple team members, prioritize, and complete with little supervision. Work well in a team environment and able to handle changing project priorities. Experience working on a cross-functional team. Excellent communications skills. Self-starter, self-motivated, positive work style. BS Degree Preferred or Associate degree with 1 years lab experience Pay Rate: $28.00-29.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
