Job Details

The Department of Economics at The University of Texas at Austin invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level beginning Fall of academic year 2025-26. Applicants from all fields will be considered, and applicants working in macroeconomics are especially encouraged to apply. Appointees are expected to engage in high quality research/scholarly activities, be effective teachers at the graduate and undergraduate levels, direct graduate research, and exhibit a commitment to service to the department, college, and university.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. for appointment as Assistant Professor or expect to obtain it within a year of joining the faculty as Instructor.

Position funding is subject to budget availability. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
