SUMMARY
As a Deputy Program Manager, youll play a critical role in driving the success of our Spacecraft Programsfrom planning and execution to delivery. Youll help lead efforts across scheduling, budgeting, resource management, and proposal development, ensuring every element stays on track, on budget, and aligned with our financial goals.
You'll collaborate with top-tier teams across supply chain, production operations, contracts, and scheduling to keep programs efficient, affordable, and mission-ready.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support development and execution of program schedules and budget
Supporting the management of program finances and accounting
Working with our ERP system as the key tool of tracking material orders and costs
Managing long leads and suppliers
Serve as point of contact for NASA and other Payload customers, and represent Firefly at conferences, reviews, and investor meetings
Measuring and reporting program performance
Negotiating contracts, statements of work, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
BS in Aerospace Engineering or related engineering discipline
Well organized and an ability to leverage and quickly master model tools like Jira and Confluence, in addition to basic MS tools like word, excel and powerpoint
5+ years of experience in program management, preferably on US government spacecraft contracts
Ability to effectively work in a multi-discipline team and provide leadership, guidance, and insight
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Demonstrated ability to track and improve program performance metrics
Experience Integrating Payloads onto spacecraft or launch vehicles
Experience with Supply Chain Management
Experience with Proposal writing and Business Development efforts
Experience with Risk Management
Experience using tools like Jira, Confluence, ERP systems, scheduling and finance databases, Power BI
