About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to help build our Austin Studio. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and leader who thrives in a client-facing role and is comfortable managing complex projects from concept through construction. This individual will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring design excellence, technical precision, and alignment with client goals.The Project Manager will also play an active role in business development and client relationship management, contributing to the continued growth of our Austin practice

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initial concept design through construction completion, managing all phases of project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary client contact—building relationships, communicating expectations, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
  • Coordinate internal design teams and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and documentation for projects up to $40 million in construction value.
  • Review and manage project contracts, proposals, and deliverables to maintain financial and operational success.
  • Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and pursuit strategy.
  • Mentor and support junior staff in project development and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on business development opportunities and client presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • Licensed Architect preferred (or actively pursuing licensure).
  • 5–12+ years of architectural experience with proven project management expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience with business development and client relationship management required.
  • Experience in higher education projects preferred; additional experience in civic or institutional work a plus.
  • Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with industry-standard project management tools.
