otProvides Logistics support across major operations company-wide (Perishables Purchasing)
otContributes to development of the organization's overall supply and logistics strategy.
otSupports various launch activities by performing services including:
• tAttends and participates in regional, national and inter-team meetings
• tMaintaining OneNote updates (SOP's)
• tForecasting - Logistics
otIdentifies, evaluates and capitalizes on opportunities to reduce costs by improving buying patterns and supply channels through collaboration with purchasing
otAccurately manages email flow, maintains good records of communications and provides documentation as required to support inquiries and help with issue resolution
otCompiles data, ensures accuracy and performs in-depth analysis as needed
otAnalyzes and interprets data results and communicates findings to the team
otCommunicates all relevant information and keeps everyone on the same page at all times; fosters collaboration with the group to lower cost of goods to WFM
otAssists with the development of new reporting tools to be used by buying teams (global and regional, to support purchasing operational needs and executive decision-making)
otPrepares materials and supports buyer communication as needed
otMonitors the functional activity processes and outcomes; recommend areas for continuous improvement
otWith oversight, performs the truck forecasting tasks, particularly for holiday planning
otAssists with managing transportation carriers
otSupports team leadership by communicating truck planning issues, interpreting weekly reports and resolving arrival conflicts
otCommunicates, represents, and upholds WFM's core values and business philosophy to Team Members and vendor/supply/carrier partners
otProvides data and works as liaison for WFM Purchasing team
otMonitors the trucking and delivery schedules to proactively identify potential issues and conflicts for all regions
otWorks with trucking, delivery, storage, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
otReviews periodic reports for patterns, trends, and systemic issues; communicating improvement recommendations to Senior Team Leader
otDrives improvement in key performance metrics, such as order fill rate, on-time delivery, inventory turns, service levels at shelf, returns, and inventory levels versus budget.
otTracks and reports on key metrics on a regular basis.
otResponsible for daily tracking of load status while in transit, understanding and documenting dwell time at pick up and delivery locations.
otEnsures optimal use of processes and policies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the Transportation Management System (TMS)
otMaintains complete and accurate records of all transactions and projections.
otAssist with planning and execution of Transportation Procurement RFPs

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 1+ years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $57,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $106,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
