Job Description

Highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our semiconductor manufacturing team. Material Handler will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of materials, supplies, and equipment throughout the production facility. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the use of automated retrieval systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Material Handling and Movement:
Receive, process, and store incoming materials, supplies, and equipment within Oracle ERP.
Transport materials and supplies to designated areas using pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Ensure accurate labeling, tracking, and documentation of all materials and supplies.
2. Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate inventory levels and locations.
Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Identify and report inventory discrepancies or damage.
3. Production Support:
Provide material support to production teams, including delivering materials and supplies to production lines.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth material flow.
4. Safety and Quality:
Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols.
Report any safety incidents or near-misses.
Ensure all materials and supplies are handled and stored in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
5. Communication and Teamwork:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and quality.
Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding material handling and inventory issues.

Requirements:

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
2. Experience: 1-3 years of experience in material handling, logistics, or supply chain management; experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment preferred.
3. Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.

Working Conditions:

1. Environment: Semiconductor manufacturing facility with cleanroom and non-cleanroom areas.
2. Temperature: Temperature-controlled environment with potential for varying temperatures.
3. Noise: Moderate noise levels.
4. Physical Demands: Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching required.
