Packaging Operator

Sirius Talent is seeking a Packaging Operator to support labeling and packaging operations for life science catalog and custom products. This role plays an essential part in ensuring reference standard solutions and neat material aliquots are accurately labeled, packaged, and ready for customer use.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8a5p

Rate: $22/hr (potential $12/hr more flexibility BOE)

This assignment involves exposure to chemicals, requiring the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and the completion of a standard physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Execute labeling, relabeling, and packaging of finished goods and reference standards.
• Review batch records and forms for accuracy and completeness before performing work.
• Initiate required forms or batch records for labeling and packaging projects.
• Complete projects according to documented processes, customer requirements, and production goals.
• Prepare and track project budgets, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Communicate delays or issues promptly to relevant teams.
• Maintain compliance with company Quality and Safety policies.
• Follow all Good Housekeeping Practices and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required/Associate degree preferred
• Prior experience in the Life Sciences industry strongly preferred
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and documentation protocols.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals while using required PPE.
