The Production Associate is responsible for assisting in the production of food products in accordance with company standards and procedures. Adhere to all safety standards and wear all required safety equipment. Operate and monitor production line equipment, including but not limited to conveyors, fillers, sealers, and packaging machinery, following standard operating procedures. Conduct regular inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning, identifying and addressing any issues or malfunctions promptly. Conduct visual inspections of products at various stages of the production process, identifying defects or deviations from quality standards. Follow established sanitation protocols to ensure cleanliness and food safety compliance within the production area, including routine cleaning of equipment and workspaces. Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments according to production schedules and product specifications. Record production data accurately and maintain detailed logs and records of equipment performance, production output, and quality control checks. Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of hazardous materials. Participate in training sessions to enhance job knowledge and skills. Performs other required tasks as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent; previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment within the food industry; knowledge of food safety regulations and practices, including HACCP and GMP guidelines; ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicate clearly, and follow instructions accurately; strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance; physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may require standing, bending, and lifting; positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic; regular and predictable attendance.
