Position Overview

We are looking for a hardworking, enthusiastic and ambitious individual to join our team at SiteOne/Whittlesey Landscape Supplies. You will be joining a team that is passionate about and committed to providing the highest quality care to our customers and other members of our team. We are one of the fastest-growing companies in Texas, which is entirely a byproduct of our awesome team members!

Schedule: Thursday thru Sunday 6PM to 4AM

What you'll do:

• Perform multiple foot and/or vehicle patrols of all areas both inside and outside the facilities to monitor any unusual activity/conditions such as but not limited to water leaks, equipment fluid leaks, unauthorized personnel, and pond conditions.
• Perform fire watch throughout shift for assigned critical areas and follow Emergency Plan in the event of a fire or inclement weather
• Provide detailed and concise Daily Activity Reports and maintain daily assigned equipment
• Be aware of local events/attractions and adjust schedule to include increased patrols as needed
• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, climb hills and lift up to 80 pounds
• Person must have good communication skills

Skills We Are Seeking

• 1+ year(s) of experience leading teams
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Must be safety-minded and aware of applicable safety requirements relative to equipment used
• Must be customer-focused and an enthusiastic, dependable team player
• Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working
• Experience in landscape, nursery, hardscape, irrigation, or forestry industry a plus
• Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader also a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
