Pharmacy Technician

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 5 pm

Facility: Good Health Solutions

Location: Austin, TX

Responsibilities:

  • Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist for the home delivery pharmacy.
  • Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
  • Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the pharmacy department.
  • Repackage bulk medications.
  • Receive and store incoming supplies.
  • Communicate with patients by phone.
  • Serve as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred. Must possess all state and local qualifications.
  • Education: High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Additional Preferences:

  • TX Registered Pharmacist Technician Registration is needed for this role.
  • 2+ years of Pharmacy Technician Experience, preferred
