Key Responsibilities:nPerforming active physiological monitoring (heart rate, rhythm, pressures, saturations) and anticipating changes during cases.nConducting patient testing/monitoring, including oxygen saturation, cardiac output, shunting, and hemodynamic calculations.nDemonstrating knowledge of procedures and proper equipment handling/asepsis.nAssisting with room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure clean-up, ensuring infection control.nPerforming post-procedure patient education regarding monitoring and catheter insertion site care.nRequired & Preferred Credentials:nBLS Provider (American Heart Association).nRegistered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credentialed from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).nAlso mentions Cardiographic Tech specializing in Electrophysiology credentialed from CCI.nAdvanced Life Support (ALS) preferred (American Heart Association).
