Pay: $23 per hour + 10% shift differential
Schedule: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM | Monday - Friday

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing & Engineering Support

  • Support assembly, diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting of complex electro-mechanical systems and sub-assemblies
  • Perform testing using standard engineering methods, design of experiments, and data collection for engineering review
  • Assist with prototype builds, design modifications, and system diagnostics
  • Work from schematics, block diagrams, written procedures, and verbal instructions
Documentation & Work Instructions
  • Develop, update, and maintain work instructions and Operational Method Sheets (OMS)
  • Create clear written content using text, images, and drawings to support manufacturing, training, and assembly efficiency
  • Streamline manufacturing methods, documentation, and training materials
  • Implement and support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) within assembly processes
CAD & Design Support
  • Create and update assembly drawings and Bills of Material (BOMs) from CAD models
  • Generate accurate, complete manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER (Creo)
  • Develop CAD models of parts and assemblies from sketches, markups, and design specifications
  • Prepare layouts and detailed drawings while designing to cost goals and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) principles
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Participate in engineering design reviews and provide clear technical input
  • Develop understanding of system design from concept through production release
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to manufacturing efficiency and product quality
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Working knowledge of electro-mechanical components and mechanisms
  • Basic to intermediate CAD skills using SolidWorks and Pro/ENGINEER (Creo)
  • Understanding of engineering drawing standards, formatting, dimensioning, and basic GD&T
  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, and diagnose mechanical and electrical systems
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
  • Self-motivated with a sense of ownership and willingness to ask questions when needed
  • Professional communication skills and positive team-oriented attitude
Education & Experience

Education
  • Associate's degree (AAS) or higher in a technical field such as Electronics, Engineering Technology, IT, or Physics preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Candidates actively pursuing an engineering degree are strongly encouraged to apply
Experience
  • 4-6 years of electro-mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment required
