DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

This contract position will support an assessment of the current IT server environment, cataloging, and classifying applications and systems. This initiative will lead to a deliverable of a Legislative Appropriations Request (LAR) support package, narrative justification, cost projections, implementation timelines, and recommended sequencing for a multi-year modernization effort, with all documentation targeted to support the FY26-27 LAR submission cycle.

Responsibilities include:
• Provides strategic oversight and ensures alignment with agency priorities and statewide standards.
• Monitors scope, risks, and interdependencies across modernization workstreams.
• Supports executive-level communication and decision-making.
• Ensures all deliverables are structured to support the LAR process.

CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

8 years or more years of experience in recent information technology program management.

8 years or more years of experience successfully delivering information technology application development and infrastructure projects.

8 years or more years of experience leading meetings with project stakeholders.

8 years or more years of experience in developing project schedules, including the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).

8 years or more years of completing tasks accurately, on-time with minimal supervision.

8 years or more years of cooperating with others in a team environment.

8 years or more years making mature, objective decisions and identifying areas of potential problems.

8 years or more years of independently performing a variety of complicated tasks.

5 years or more years of experience using Microsoft Project tools for developing and maintaining project schedules.

1 year or more years as a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or related certification such as SCRUM Master.
