Leaf Landscape, a partner of Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking a full-time Yard Care Associate that will focus on duties such as stocking the yard area, warehouse areas, shipping and receiving of products, loading/unloading trucks. The workweek is Monday through Friday, with an opportunity for overtime during the busy season. (With rotating Saturdays.) *Must be able to work in inclement weather at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Stocking, receiving, pulling, and staging all yard/warehouse products.
- Loading, unloading, and securing product for customers, delivery vehicles, and inbound trucks.
- Keeping yard area neat and organized.
- Operating Forklifts in outdoor environments.
- Focusing on safe work practices, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment.
- Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
- Load and unload the delivery trucks.
- Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather at all times.
- Basic computer knowledge and Internet use
- Loader Operator experience is helpful, not required
- Ability to lift 75 pounds; 50 pounds on a repetitive basis
- Must be able to work rotating Saturdays schedule.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is helpful, but not required
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug test/background screening.
