Overview

The Material Handler is responsible for performing physical and administrative tasks related to shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. This role involves unloading deliveries, verifying documentation, pulling and packaging materials, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, basic computer skills, and 1–2 years of materials handling experience.

Specific Job Duties

• Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles
• Examine receiving documents for storage destination
• Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping area
• Document information relating to receipt, storage, or distribution of materials
• Package materials for shipment
• Perform cycle counts and inventory checks
• Use computer systems to locate and track material
• Complete daily tasks quickly and efficiently while adhering to quality standards
• Work under direct supervision and follow established procedures
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment

Position Requirements

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

• 1–2+ years of materials handling or related work experience required
• Valid driver's license as required

• Familiarity with Oracle and Agile systems preferred

The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $24.00 per hour.
