POSITION TITLE:Room Attendant

REPORTS TO: Executive Housekeeper / General Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Room Attendant is responsible for maintainingclean and orderly guest rooms, restocking amenities, and reporting anymaintenance issues to ensure a high standard of service. This role requiresattention to detail, efficiency, and a guest-focused attitude to create a positive,welcoming atmosphere for all hotel guests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Housekeeping Responsibilities
• Provide a clean and safe environment for guestsby cleaning and maintaining guest roomsand common areas.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean floors,and ensure all surfaces meet cleanliness standards.
• Collect dirty linens and transport them to thelaundry area, delivering fresh linens to roomattendant carts as needed.
• Restock guest room amenities, including towels,soaps, and toiletries.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely manner,such as delivering extra linens or items fromthe front desk.
• Assist with deep cleaning and organization ofcommon areas and maintain the lobby functions.
• Report any safety, maintenance, or housekeepingconcerns to management.
• Adhere to lost and found procedures, guestsafety protocols, and hotel policies.
• Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces,anticipating and addressing their needs.

General Responsibilities
• Ensure efficient completion of daily roomcleaning assignments in a timely manner.
• Use supplies and equipment responsibly,reporting any shortages or issues to management.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanorwith guests and team members.
• Follow established schedules and support otherdepartments as needed, performing additionaltasks assigned by management.
• Comply with hotel safety guidelines andprocedures to ensure a secure environment for guestsand staff.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to stand for extended periods,frequently moving within and about the facility.
• Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 50lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs.
• Must frequently handle objects and equipmentnecessary for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Basic reading and writing skills forunderstanding assignments, checklists, and guest requests.

Flexibility to work nights, weekends, andholidays as needed.
