Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established manufacturing company in Cedar Park, TX to hire a dedicated Filter Assembler. This position involves the assembly and testing of electronic filter components used in precision equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, enjoys hands-on work, and can thrive in a production environment requiring attention to detail and consistent quality.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 1st shift, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM | Overtime as needed
Pay: $17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble and solder electronic filter components according to blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions.
• Wrap copper wire around inductors and solder resistors, capacitors, and conductors.
• Conduct pre-assembly prep work such as cutting materials, cleaning components, and testing inductors for quality assurance.
• Use hand tools, calipers, and measuring equipment to ensure precise builds.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and assist in training new employees as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).
• Ability to stand for long periods and repetitively bend, twist, and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Basic understanding of hand tools and measurement.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a production or assembly environment.
• Soldering experience (by iron or flame).
