About the Role:

Join our dynamic 2nd shift team as an Evening Facility Maintenance Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in upholding the aesthetic and operational quality of our hospital and clinic facilities on a multi-site campus. This is an exciting opportunity for those looking to leverage their maintenance skills in a meaningful way, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Your work hours will be from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM in Lakeway, TX.

What You'll Do:

  • Execute painting and patching tasks, including surface preparation and drywall repairs, to maintain the visual standards of our healthcare facilities.
  • Handle various general maintenance duties related to building systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
  • Complete assigned work orders efficiently, prioritizing urgent maintenance needs to minimize disruptions.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs, inspecting building elements to intervene proactively.
  • Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues using appropriate techniques and tools for long-lasting solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and high-quality service delivery.
  • Assist in minor renovation projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Support installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
  • Review and track completion of assigned work orders using available systems.
  • Ensure building systems are operating efficiently to support energy management initiatives.
  • Inspect installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Utilize established procedures to solve straightforward problems and communicate effectively.
  • Contribute positively to the team through defined tasks and responsibilities.
  • Deliver your output under the direction and guidance of supervisors.

What You'll Need:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma, with 1-2 years of related experience; a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Proven experience in commercial painting, patching, and general building maintenance.
  • Physical capability to meet the demands of the role, including lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.
  • A solid understanding of basic work routines and standards in maintenance tasks.
  • Effective communication skills to share straightforward information.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational skills coupled with a proactive mindset.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.
