As a General Laborer, you'll be responsible for a variety of cleaning and preparation tasks essential to maintaining a safe, contamination-controlled environment, especially during the critical "super clean" phase prior to tool installation. This role involves detailed work in a high-tech, large-scale construction setting. Position Type: This position is a TEMPORARY 8 WEEK PROJECT Requirements: OSHA-10 certification required before start date Candidates must understand the working construction environment Pay Rate: $26.00/hour Shifts: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 12:30 AM● High school diploma or GED preferred.● Prior experience in construction cleaning, cleanroom environments, or general labor is an advantage.● Experience with detailed or contamination-control cleaning is highly desirable.● Comfortable working at heights, using fall protection, and operating lifts (training provided if needed).● Familiarity with HEPA vacuums, polymer wipes, auto-scrubbers, and cleanroom protocol is a strong plus.● Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work for extended periods on feet, and adapt to a fast-paced construction environment.● Strong attention to detail, safety orientation, and teamwork required.● Perform general site cleaning: sweeping, trash/debris removal, and maintaining orderly work areas.● Conduct "super clean" activities such as:I. Wiping down all accessible surfaces (including MEP, piping, conduit, cable trays, ductwork, equipment, and structural steel) with lint-free polymer wipes saturated with deionized (DI) water to remove dust, residue, and particulate matter.II. Cleaning overhead structures and equipment using specialized tools (extension poles, lifts) and ensuring proper use of fall protection.III. Vacuuming floors, walls, and equipment using HEPA-filtered vacuums to capture fine particles.IV. Cleaning and polishing stainless steel surfaces, cleanroom panels, and tool pads.V. Removing protective films, stickers, and construction masking from floors, walls, and equipment.VI. Mopping and scrubbing floors with auto-scrubbers and approved cleaning agents.VII. Cleaning under raised floors, inside pits, and other hard-to-reach areas using personal fall protection.VIII. Performing particulate and contamination checks as instructed.IX. Documenting cleaning activities and reporting completion or issues to supervisors.● Operate and maintain cleaning equipment: floor scrubbers, HEPA vacuums, scissor lifts, and hand tools.● Act as a spotter for equipment operation and team safety.● Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE, fall protection, and safe work practices at heights.● Monitor site entry points to ensure all personnel are wearing required cleanroom attire and following access protocols.● Support other project phases and complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
