About the Role:

The Concierge role, scheduled for weekends from 7am to 3:30pm, is a vital position within the Health Care and Social Assistance industry, focused on delivering exceptional customer service and support to patients, visitors, and staff. This role serves as the first point of contact, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience by managing inquiries, directing individuals appropriately, and facilitating smooth communication across departments. The Concierge is responsible for maintaining a professional and compassionate demeanor, addressing diverse needs with sensitivity and discretion. By coordinating logistical details and providing timely assistance, the Concierge contributes significantly to the overall operational effectiveness and positive environment of the healthcare facility. Ultimately, this position supports the mission of delivering high-quality care by enhancing the accessibility and comfort of all who enter the facility during weekend hours.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably in a healthcare or social assistance setting.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team during weekend shifts.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with scheduling and communication software.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in customer service or healthcare administration.
  • Experience working in a hospital, clinic, or social assistance environment.
  • Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish or other commonly spoken languages in the community.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff promptly and courteously upon arrival.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
  • Provide accurate information regarding facility services, directions, and policies.
  • Coordinate appointment schedules and assist with patient check-in and check-out processes as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting areas.
  • Report any safety or security concerns to the appropriate authorities immediately.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and administrative teams to ensure seamless communication and service delivery.
  • Handle special requests and resolve minor issues to enhance the patient and visitor experience.
