Warehouse Receiver

As a Warehouse Receiver, you play a crucial role in ensuring smooth back room operations. Your expertise in managing freight shipments and product handling will help maintain our high standards of accuracy and efficiency. You'll collaborate with various departments to ensure that all products are organized and displayed according to our company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Embrace and promote the company culture while driving our Mission, Vision, and Values.
• Receive and stock merchandise with precision to enhance productivity.
• Accurately manage electronic purchase orders, matching vendor packing slips and noting discrepancies.
• Process electronic transfer documents diligently, ensuring correctness and addressing any inconsistencies.
• Manage and maintain the operation of barcode ticket printers, including weekly preventative maintenance.
• Print and affix tags to merchandise using proper techniques and tools.
• Inspect footwear for defects and ensure proper pairing.
• Organize and file all paperwork effectively.
• Quickly address and resolve receiving, shipping, and system issues.
• Maintain a tidy and efficient back room at all times.
• Train and delegate responsibilities effectively to stockers.
• Collaborate with supervisors to meet company-set goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Must be able to lift and lower objects regularly throughout the shift.
• Ability to carry objects up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Competence in reading and understanding basic instructions in English.
• Ability to interpret documents and apply principles to complex tasks.
• Must remain alert during assigned work hours.
