JOB SUMMARY:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in examining components, parts, and products to ensure they meet rigorous specifications and quality assurance standards. You will also identify quality issues and inefficiencies in design and processes to ensure our products adhere to the highest quality requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct thorough examinations and quality inspections on products at various stages of production to confirm compliance with established quality and reliability standards.
- Analyze statistical data from processes to verify compliance and recognize any deviations from standards.
- Perform detailed visual inspections of soldered connections and mechanical inspections of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Prepare and submit all necessary documentation for reporting quality control results.
- Make acceptance or rejection decisions for inspected or tested items.
- Identify design flaws, process inefficiencies, and report any quality concerns promptly.
- Conduct routine inspections of engineering designs, subassemblies, final assemblies, and tooling.
- Participate in internal audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Be prepared to work nights, weekends, variable shifts, and additional hours as needed.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A combination of relevant education and work experience beneficial for successful job performance.
Certifications:
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in a quality inspection role.
Skills:
- Ability to adhere to established job instructions with minimal supervision.
- Systematic approach to quality assurance procedures to resolve technical issues.
- Proficient in measuring and utilizing test equipment relevant to job assignments.
- Capable of interpreting and executing written and verbal instructions, including engineering drawings and specifications.
- Strong computer skills are essential.
- Salary Range for California-based positions: $20.10/hour - $30.10/hour, varying based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
