As a collaborative Operations Generalist, you will play a crucial role in executing our merchandising and inventory strategies within the Pet Care Center. Your responsibilities will include working the truck, stocking shelves, maintaining cleanliness in the store, operating the cash register, and providing an exceptional experience to our guests and their pets. Passion for animal welfare and being a supportive member of the Pet Care Center team will contribute to your success in this role.

• Oversee merchandise maintenance and inventory throughout the Pet Care Center.
• Ensure products are well-stocked, accurately priced, and attractively displayed.
• Facilitate register transactions to create positive guest experiences.
• Utilize our selling model to aid guest interactions.
• Showcase a strong commitment to animal care and support pet health initiatives.
• Participate in training programs to enhance your knowledge and skills.
• Foster a positive culture of teamwork, inclusion, and collaboration.
• Follow all operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Execute additional duties and special projects as assigned.
• Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to the Leader on Duty as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
• Proficiency in mathematics and strong communication skills are required.
• A professional appearance and genuine interest in animal care are vital.
• Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are essential for interactions with the public and fellow partners.

Supervisory Responsibility: None

Work Environment: Most duties are performed indoors; however, some tasks may require brief periods outside the store. You should be prepared for physical activities such as lifting merchandise (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is necessary to meet store needs.
